In Huyền Thoại Tarkan, whenever a Boss (for example: White Wizard, Medusa, Golden Boss, Golden Dragon, Kundun…) appears, many players join the fight. The main questions players ask are:
👉 Who will pick up the loot dropped by the Boss?
👉 Why do I sometimes deal a lot of damage but still get nothing?
The server accumulates the total damage that each character deals to the Boss.
When the Boss dies, the system determines the player or party with the highest total damage.
That player/party will have priority rights to pick up the items dropped by the Boss.
📌 Example:
Player A deals 40% of the Boss HP.
Player B deals 30%.
Player C + D (same party) deal 30%.
👉 The loot rights go to Player A because A has the highest total damage.
👉 If Player C + D together exceed A’s damage, then party C–D will get the loot rights.
The damage of all party members is combined to compete against other players.
If a party wins, all members of that party can pick up the items, but whoever is faster will take them first.
That’s why hunting Bosses in a party usually gives a better chance.
Even if you participate in the fight, the system may not record your damage in the following situations:
Standing too far from the Boss
– If you are more than 20 range units away from the Boss, and another player deals damage, your accumulated damage will be lost.
Disconnected or Exiting the Game
– If you disconnect, change servers, or switch sub-servers, you will lose all Boss damage.
More than 20 seconds without dealing damage
– If you don’t deal damage for over 20 seconds (due to stun, skill lock, or simply failing to attack), your Boss damage will be removed.
Death or Being on a Different Map
– If you die or move to another map while the Boss is alive, all your accumulated damage is instantly cleared.
Who gets the loot from the Boss? → The player or party with the highest total damage.
Why do you lose Boss damage? → Usually due to disconnection, standing too far, inactivity, or dying.
Join a party to combine damage.
Choose classes with strong DPS and stable combos.
Stay close to the Boss, avoid fighting outside the effective range.
Prevent lag/disconnection to make sure your damage counts.
